What hours are you open?
We are open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Where are you located?
1227 E. Republic Rd. Springfield, MO 65804. The shop is located on the NE corner of Republic Rd. and National intersection.

What boot/shoe repairs do you offer?
Most common repairs are resoling, sole protectors, heel replacement, cleaning, conditioning, and shining.

Can you do shoe lifts?
We make lifts that fit inside shoes and add heel and full sole lifts to the bottoms of shoes.

Can you stretch shoes?
We can stretch any kind of boot or shoe that will stretch. Common stretching we do is toe boxes, vamp (instep), bunions, and hammertoe. We also manipulate shoes to meet specific needs Customers have.

What can be done to keep my leather items in good condition?
Regular conditioning will prolong the life of quality leather items. We recommend conditioning every 3 months for normal use items more often if items are used for everyday wear or used in harsher environments.

Can you clean suede?
Yes, we have expert tools and products to clean all types of leather materials.

Do you make custom shoes?
No, at this time we can repair, refurbish and clean any goods, but we do not make shoes from scratch. We do make other custom leather products, like purses.

Does the shop make any custom leather items other than shoes?
Yes, we make one-of-a-kind leather purses, handbags, wallets (Customer is the designer), knife sheaths, bandana weights, purse straps, instrument straps, and other items as requested.

Can stains be removed from leather or suede?
Depends on what the stain is. We use every available technology and product to correct issues. However, oils and greases that penetrate deep into the grain of leather or into suede are impossible to completely remove in most cases.

Do you dye shoes in your shop?
Yes, we dye shoes depending on type of shoe, design, and color.

Do you clean and condition leather jackets?
Yes, we clean, condition, and restore the color depending on the color of the jacket.

Can you replace zippers?
Yes, we do zipper replacements on purses, shoes, jackets when possible.Y

Can you repair climbing shoes or boots?
Yes, we can repair most any climbing shoe, from soles to insteps - we have the expertise to help.

What retail products do you carry in your shop?
Shoe polish, laces, insoles, shoe stretchers, shoe trees, conditioner, Archies Sandals and Slides, and other shoe related items.

Can items that have been damaged by my pets be repaired?
Yes, we frequently repair items that have been chewed on by pets (even if Fido knew better!).

If I live outside of Springfield, how can I get information regarding repairs without having to drive into Springfield?

Can I get repairs done if I live hours away from Springfield or another State?
Yes, we have many customers that mail in their items to be repaired and we mail them back when complete. Call us @ 417.881.7581 for details. We service clients across the entire US.

Do you offer same day service on shoe and leather repair?
Typically, not but there are exceptions that we accommodate when we can. Examples of same day services: funeral shoes, someone traveling through the area and having a problem with a needed pair of shoes (orthotic, shoes for an event, etc.). It depends on our schedule and customer needs whether we can accommodate or not. Call us to discuss if you have a need - we will always do our best to meet your urgency.

Do you repair items, especially leather items, other than shoes?
Yes, in addition to shoe repair we repair items such as purses, handbags, belts, leather items, sentimental value and family heirloom items, straps on music instruments, etc. If you have a unique item in need of repair, contact us, we may be able to help.
